Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee JD Souther is one of the most celebrated songwriters of his generation and architect of the Southern California sound. Souther wrote and co-wrote hits for the Eagles ("Best of My Love," "New Kid in Town," and "Heartache Tonight"), Don Henley ("Heart of the Matter"), and songs for countless other artists. JD also sang the #1 hit "You’re Only Lonely" and duetted with James Taylor on "Her Town Too".
